Today's run was just a little over 7 miles in about one hour and 15 minutes. As with most of my runs, the first 3 miles are always real slow and then I can pick up the pace after that.
I am working hard on my form and taking short steps to get a quicker cadance. When I do that my pace also gets quicker and I generally feel better during the run. The challenge for me is to keep that discipline by making it instinctual. Trevor Stewart, one of our Always Brothers members does a great job of this, which I would love to emulate.
Til next time, Semper Fi!
